Taking a Break

The nanotechstocks blog wasn't being updated these last two weeks and should only return to normal in the next week.

The PXN ETF is using the 19 Dollar mark as a resistance for new highs and the $NNZ is still behind the January Top.

Probably until the major indexes get into new highs, these smaller sectors wont move much.

Check the Nanotech related sites and blogs in the left, while I'm taking a break from blogging.

Retraction

The "official" nanotech index seems to be retracting some of it's recent gains. It's still one of the best performers and in a good uptrend pattern that should continue in the next days/weeks.

For long term plays there is still plenty of oportunities in individual stocks that compose this index.

I will try to analyse some "green energy stocks" in the next updates since this seems to be one hot topic for the next years, both in USA and European Stocks.

Browsing for nanolinks

There is a new news site being linked in some nanotech blogs that maybe it's worth checking: NEWS From the Bottom: online student nanotechnology journal
Here is a snip:
Many histories of nanotechnology start with reference to Feynman's 1959 speech "There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom," in which noted physicist Richard Feynman discusses the possibilities of storage and manipulation on an atomic level. We felt the name "News from the Bottom" was apt for our journal not only to acknowledge the history of the field, but also to acknowledge our target audience and contributors.

More updates from the markets as soon as this week starts, since last week the nanotech index just stalled around the 220 point area, and the Lux Nanotech ETF closed flat this week.
